Each Rolls-Royce Motor Car is sold with a limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship to the first retail buyer, and each subsequent purchaser, of a Rolls-Royce Motor Car. A limited warranty is defined as one in which some of the costs and responsibilities are shared with the customer.
Responsibility for warranty cover is Rolls-Royce Dealers to the customer and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to the Rolls-Royce Dealer.
The motor car warranty period is 48 months, unlimited mileage. If the motor car is used for commercial purposes (chauffeur service, limo service, hire car, hotels etc.) the warranty period is 48 months or 100,000 miles (160,000 Km), whichever occurs first.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Parts warranty is 24 months / unlimited mileage from the date of purchase.
The Rolls-Royce Motor Car Limited Warranty begins on the date of first retail/registration, or the date the vehicle is first placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever is earlier.
To obtain service under this warranty, the vehicle must be brought, upon discovery of a defect in material or workmanship, to the workshop of an authorized Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealer in the United States during normal business hours.
The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealer will, without charge, for parts or labor, either repair or replace the defective part using new or authorized remanufactured parts. The decision to repair or replace said part(s) is solely the prerogative of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA.
Parts for which replacements are made become the property of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA. In all cases, a reasonable time must be allowed for warranty repairs to be completed after a vehicle is received by the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealer.
